Is it possible to plug a computer into my laptop's ethernet, and using my laptops wifi, give internet to the other computer via internet?

Router ---> Wifi ----> Laptop <---- ethernet <---- computer.

Good luck on sharing WiFi to Ethernet, it's definitely an unsupported configuration, although I've heard reports of people sometimes getting it to work on rare occasions but it's usually unreliable and it hardly ever works for anyone.

The link that topgun posted is for Ethernet to Ethernet "ICS" not wireless to Ethernet.

You would have better luck setting up a hosted wireless network on the laptop then connecting to that network wirelessly with your desktop, assuming it has a wireless NIC.

Well what I'm trying to connect to my laptop is a Raspberry pi, which only has ethernet, and is very basic (using Xbian). Pretty simple linux and my wifi usb adapter isn't working on it, and can't run an ethernet to it, so I would have to use my laptop which is in the same room as it.

I don't know what you meant by this, I have done this numerous times in the past and never failed. And why would this configuration not supported ? That's exactly the network hub is doing, switching the send/receive leads between the 2 PC's electronically while using the Cross Over Connector establishes the same thing and without any bottle neck.

This is exactly what he asked
