Windows 8 Ethernet Failure

Guys,

Looks like the latest set of updates has broken something in the networking. Monday I came to the office and discovered that the wired ethernet was not connecting to the corporate LAN. The system just doesn't sense the network when plugged in. Rolled the system back to last Friday and the connection was restored. Yesterday I allowed Windows update to install the latest again and this morning the wired network is again failing. The wireless works fine but the wired ethernet is failing. Anyone else see this? It's obviously something with the latest update, which one of the three I'm not sure.

If you can roll those updates back again then install them one at a time to narrow it down you may be able to find the one causing the problem.

Once you find the offending update just right click it and choose to hide the update.

I haven't seen anyone else having this exact problem.

Yeah, I guess I'll do that if I ever run into a real need for the port. Rather than fiddle with it I'll see if the next update corrects it. I doubt that I'm the only system with the problem. Just wondering if anyone else had run into it.
