Solved Can't connect to a known network

Earth is interesting...
I just ran into an annoying problem. I have a built in wifi card, with which I connected to my Wifi.

A few days ago I also connected a USB wifi adapter to the same computer, and connected to the same wifi as earlier.

When I was done with it, I clicked "forget this network" and then unplugged the adapter.

After all this, I can't connect to my wifi using the built in card.

All it says is "Cant connect to this network" and a link to help me solve connection problems in orange
which doesn't help at all.

I can't "forget this network" and it does not let me see the properties, or even put in the password again.

I've rebooted numerous times thinking that would help, but it doesn't.

Also I can't find the network list in control panel, which windows 7 had... where you could delete all the networks you've connected to before.

EDIT 1/12/13
Solution:
After a few tinkering and resetting, the answer was just changing my MAC address. I'm guessing I blocked my self somehow from using 2 wifi adapters at the same time.

Check your wireless adapters in the network/sharing center and make sure you are using the right Wi-Fi adapter and it's enabled.

It is enabled. I can connect to other networks, but the particular one I need, it fails to connect.

That's all I'm getting...

I've uninstalled the adapter, and windows automatically reinstalled, but still can't connect to it...

Just pops up the useless help menu...

Need to be connected to wifi for it to give actual results, but I can't be connected while trying to connect.......

How do I get to "Manage wireless networks" like in windows 7?

Windows 8 doesn't seem to have it...

How do I clear the network info and history?

Wow, I have never been this mad in my life...

I "refreshed" my pc thinking that it might fix the problem...

It deleted every program I ever installed, (at least 40 hours of download time)

and installed all the not very nice bloatware:doh::cry::mad::( from factory that took me hours to get rid of... O my flippen goodness...........

but still didn't fix the adapter problem... I've never said the "f" word, but now I feel like saying it non-stop in every tense... and maybe slamming my pc a few times. Or burn it, that definitely would feel good...

I would have gone with the pdf. wireless set up link first but I probably didn't post it in time.

System images come in handy for times like this.

The reset feature does even more than the refresh so using the reset feature might be another option at this point.

I Completely reinstalled windows, since the refresh deleted everything anyways, but that didn't even help... I can connect to any Wifi out there, except the one I need...

Is it possible that I blocked myself/ the adapter somehow?

And also would changing my adpaters MAC address help in this situation?

The PDF posted doesn't help.

I get the "checking requirements" but then it just says I can't connect. It won't even give me a chance to put in the password.

Every other network allows me too put in the password...

Have you tried to reset your router?

You will need to set the wireless back up after the reset.

You should also ensure that this router is using WPA2 Security with AES encryption, WEP won't work anymore.

Works thanks!

EDIT: I reset the router.

EDIT EDIT: It worked for a while, but then same problem.
I changed the MAC address of my adapter, and it now works.
FOR FUTURE REFERENCE:
Change Your MAC address and it will work if you have a similar problem.
