Cannot access Libraries

At some point in time after installing Windows 8, I opened My Computer, and tried to go to Libraries.

Libraries is displayed, with Documents, Music, Pictures and Videos as sub-folders. When I try to expand the Documents sub-folders I get the message "Documents.library-ms is no longer working". This same message is repeated for the other three sub-folders, with the appropriate name of Music, Pictures, Videos".

I am also using SkyDrive, and wonder if this is related to the problem.

Don't know about the skydrive thing. Could be corruption. You could try running sfc /scannow via an elevated command prompt for starters.

Besides znod's good suggestion, if that doesn't work you can try restoring the default library's.
