Dropping packets on wireless

Here is my setup:

Windows 8 on a desktop with Linksys AE3000 wireless adapter.

I sometimes start losing packets when pinging to my router. Here is an example:

Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes=32 time=1ms TTL=64 Reply from 192.168.1.1: bytes= - Pastebin.com

Now using my tablet with built-in wireless adapter (same location as the desktop) I got this result

C:\Users\Adnan>ping -t 192.168.1.1 Pinging 192.168.1.1 with 32 bytes of dat - Pastebin.com

Obviously the problem is not my router

If I restart Windows 8 desktop, the problem is fixed and pings are back to normal.

However, next day I get the same problem back (until I restart again).

I have tried three different wireless adapters but it's the same problem with all of them.

Any suggestions?

Lots of reason's why this is happening on a wireless connection, it's wireless and therefore is subject to interference from all of your neighbors due to channel overlap. But you can change channels to avoid this.

Using Xirrus WiFi inspector will give you a good idea about which channels to use, post the read out here if you can't decide which channel to change too.

As I mentioned rebooting the computer immediately fixes the issue, so it's not a router/channel issue. And the tablet in the same location doesn't have the issue. Read the OP, please.
