Windows 8 has this nice feature where you can set your WiFi connection as a metered connection, which is great because you can reduce the amount of bandwidth your computer uses in many ways, especially when you pay for the bandwidth you use every month.
My case is different though. My internet connection is limited during the day, but it's free 2AM-8AM. i.e, I have unlimited usage 2AM to 8AM, but the rest of the day I pay for my bandwidth beyond a (very meager) limit. I intend to take full advantage of this free internet time.
My question is:
Is it possible to configure Windows 8 to automatically set my WiFi connection to 'non metered' at 2AM and back to 'metered' at 8AM everyday?
Doing this manually is not an option, because I will be fast asleep during this time. my computer will be on though, and all updates and sync operations will be configured to happen during this time when I'm not getting charged by the byte.
Any help is appreciated!
Thanks.
