join 2 system

hi guys.
i want to create network between 2 systems by cross cable between win 8 and win 7.how can i do that?please explain completely

You are welcome. I have never actually networked this way. So, I am not sure, but presumably so. Be sure and read the link I gave carefully. The way I presented it to you originally it implies that the crossover procedure will work for you. But, maybe not. Also, note the part that implies that a standard Ethernet cable may be all you may need. I apologize for being a bit careless when I posted the link originally.

thanks my firend.how can i find that do i have network adapter?and how can i know that does it automatically "cross over" when they detect that they are connected directly to another network adapter using a regular Ethernet cable?
