    Hotspot Connection issues

Just got a new Windows 8 ultrabook (Lenovo Yoga) and I find that I cannot get a functional connection to my Sprint WiFi Hotspot (EVO 4G LTE).

The EVO Hotspot works with both my iPad and Nexus 7, and the Yoga works with WiFi routers at both my home and work.

When I activate the Hotspot, the Yoga sees and creates the connection, but the connection shows "Limited" or "No Internet Connection" most of the time, and I cannot access anything through the browser or other data using apps.

I've run the Troubleshooter to no avail. I've restarted my phone and the laptop and tried changing the security protocol used.

I have tried ipconfig /release and /renew without benefit.

Any ideas why I would be having so much trouble getting the laptop to create a usable connection?

    Thanks

Strangely enough, without changing anything (that I know of), the connection worked today when I tested it, despite refusing to work all day yesterday with reboots and restarts and all. Crossing fingers that it continues to function when I need it. Wonder if this was a Sprint-side issue, but then why would other devices work with it during that time?

Also have HTC EVO LTE, all other devices can connect and surf net but Windows 8 machine connects but Limited Connection. Able to obtain IP address but can't do anything. Anyone find a solution? Sprint support has no solutions.

Found solution to this issue. Seems like built in Windows 8.1 wireless driver issue. My Dell Latitude laptop works fine on all wifi other than my Sprint EVO LTE enabled hotspot. Downloaded and installed latest Dell wireless drivers bam! internet connection started working. Hope this help others that is looking for Windows 8 connecting to hotspot issues.
