lost wireless connection

After running 8 for almost a week...this is the first lost connection I've seen. My connection wasn't even listed with the other available networks. A reboot didn't work so rebooted router and that did it. Very strange.

Anybody else out experienced anything like that?

Yes I've had my router crash a few times over the years, Windows 7 or 8 didn't matter, it was from clicking on a bad link and that did it for me.
