    I can confirm that the "replace all instances of USB\VID_04B8&PID_011B with USB\VID_04B8&PID_010A" trick (described in the previous posts of this thread) works in Windows 10 too. I'm using without problems the EPSON 1640 SU scanner (with the help of the Scanner app hosted in Windows store)...
