I normally route audio/video from VLC to my HDMI out on my Raedon card to my TV. After recent installing multiple windows updates and multiple driver updates and a reboot VLC no longer has the option to output audio over HDMI. I am running the latest drivers from AMD. Should I downgrade or does...
I primarily run linux rather then windows. Awhile back, I had migrated my data from one HDD to another so I could switch to EXT4 file system. Then I copied the data back to the newly created EXT4 partition. Recently, I decided I regretted this decision after I suspect a ton of data...
I may give it a shot but I found out it is a limitation of EXT3/4 in Ext2FSD so I am doubting a windows native file remover is going to do the job. I guess I am going to have to use a back up EXT browser/solution for deleting unless I drop back to EXT2 and that may be a bit challenging to back...
Ok well it looks to me like the problem is something with in Ext2FSD and an EXT partition. I can read and write to the EXT4 HDDs fine. However, I can not delete files from EXT partitions. Any ideas?
As some one who does programming as a hobby, I am all for it. However they must not be overly flashy and must not interfere with the normal operation of the program. I have seen the later in at least a few instances of modern apps..

Has any one found an alternative for unlocker that actually works in win 8? I forgot to try compatibility mode to see if that helps but it may be netter to use something more native in this case.
Been there done that. Had an interesting occurrence tonight.
1. I got my RMA from WD for my 3TB HDD today! So I unmounted every HDD from the cage and reorganized them in my preferred order as it had been jumbled up with alot of HDD swaps lately. My 1TB Caviar Green is about to be phased out now...
I hadn't checked but I remember that it is set to achi. Tbh I couldn't tell you what I did to get it working but I did disable Win 8 fast boot and wonder if that was a culprit since I dual boot Linux. Seems that leaving it on is a major problem for dual boosters. Burg has an os prober like grub...
Ok so I did a clean install due to a lack of responses. It was working fine with grub, but I wanted to use burg. So I boot in to linux, and run update-burg hoping this would present me with burg. It didn't but I choose to boot win 8 and it shows a win 8 styled screen with a win 8 logo and it...
