When I go to PC Settings/Accounts, it says I need to verify my Microsoft account. When I click on "verify" nothing happens. Help please? Thanks

Here's a couple more I did yesterday. W8.1 outperforms W7 in Firestrike and Skydiver. These 880M graphics cards are garbage compared to the 780M Oh, on 3Dmark my username is Presorium.

I think Hotmail is a Microsoft account. Not 100% sure.

Like the title says, when I go to pc settings and click on a picture to change the lock screen it changes but when I log off I have the same lock screen. Thanks

On my start screen in the upper right corner I have my name, power options, and a little magnifying glass which if I click on it I get a search box.

I just installed W8.1 and I see that you don't have to use a password anymore. When you boot up it goes right to your desktop or if you prefer the start screen. Was that the new update?

can anyone tell me why cpu performance is so poor in W8? In W7 it gets much higher benchmark scores.
