As stated in my original post.....This laptop BIOS has no UEFI setting. It doesn't have anything about Legacy either. I looked at every window in BIOS. I'll just make a MBR Flash Drive and be done with it. Just wanted to know if it could be done GPT. Thanks.

I am having same problem...You have to use a Retail key and we have OEM keys I would say.

If your computer came with Win 8 preinstalled you don't need the key. It is inserted during install from the BIOS.

I have my own Windows 8 .iso's so I'm ok there. Can't I just boot up with my newly created USB flash drive with UEFI and delete them partitions instead of the way you just guided to?

I also can't get this to make a UEFI Boot USB. I have a Windows 8 OEM .iso image. I followed the directions on how to make this bootable flash drive and while it boots it doesn't say UEFI when I select my Geek Squad 8GB Flash Drive. It just says Geek Squad 8GB. I have done this like 5 times...

I am getting a Dell XPS 8500 in a few days and it will have the UEFI. I do a clean install immediately when I get a new machine with all the preinstalled crap. I already had a USB Win 8 Pro Install already made up. I read the post here about making a UEFI one and followed the guide and it boots...
