I ran prime95 and memtest for 24 hours+ with no errors or blue screens. Could an overheating issue cause the CPU to fail? I havent checked the temps of the CPU while I play WoW, but is there a possibility that its not the CPU (dont want to spend 300$+ dollars), but the fan or heatsink?
Just a quick question usamsa before I start these tests. Does the FAILURE_BUCKET_ID: 0x124_GenuineIntel_PROCESSOR_CACHE point to the CPU failing or is that something different?
Yes I do still need help. I have been keeping my post up to date with edits on what I have tried. I ordered a new cpu fan and thermal paste to see if it is a heat related issue. Other than that I'm completely lost.
