Kindle app from Win 8 store downloaded and ran successfully. Then stopped working. As the app does not work cannot click uninstall from the app icon so as to allow a reinstall. Uninstalled the program from PC but store Store still flags the app as installed and so will not allow a fresh...
I found the problem. I had installed Acronis backup. Decided not to buy but it was still on my system. Deleted it and Win 7 recovery worked - although it did not do a good backup of all files. Will have to work on that.
