I found that one of the optional updates caused a lot of sfc errors that I saw, after uninstalling it, my errors disappeared. I forget which one it was now though.
Looks like I fixed it, seems the monitor had DDC turned on, I reset the settings not long ago and I guess it turned back on.

Unplugging the USB devices works.
I have Steelseries drivers installed and it's fine, just unplug what USB you have during the reboot update phase.
I did 2 PC's and a laptop trouble free but the 4th PC failed and unplugging USB fixed it.
Edit- nevermind about the Steelseries drivers comment...
Chrome (or Chromium) is fine but Waterfox and Opera (64bit) are good too.
IE11 is gaining ground, it plays Netflix without stupid silverlight which is a big plus, I'm mainly using it now on my HTPC.
I had the same problem on my laptop, went into Action Center and clicked troubleshooting and picked fix problems with windows update, it fixed it after.
