Which is the safest to use?

It is just the computer screen. also my windows silverlight program keeps getting corrupted . I have a avast antivirus. I put a photo of it and another file that keeps corrupting. What do I do?

For some reason the metro app for netflix flickers for no reason when watching shows. I see no reason for this. I have a dell Inspiron 15r non touch 4th gen i7 4500u processor with 8 gigs of ram. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.
