no. everything was intact except for the os partition but it wasnt formatted right. it let me use the system restore. dell one still ditnt work right

i think i may have it fixed...crossing fingers im ...restore is running at the moment. i used a partition program i found on this fourm...booted from it and was able to reformat and recreate the os partition. woot woot.

I am stuck and i am hoping someone here can help. i have a dell laptop with win 8 on it that it came win. the recovery partitions are intact etc. only thing not intact is the OS partition. the recovery of course fails because of the partition missing. is there a command i can type in diskpart...
