This solution worked with the exception of the desktop icons first row where hidden by my eye tracker tool bar. These icons usually slide over when the toolbar extend. Still had to restart the computer to realign everything but for all practical purposes it worked so I will mark as solved. Thanks.
No new program . Ran several sfc scans, some with errors some without. Can't find any body with Microsoft database access to inform them to interpret cbs log errors.
I have Lou Gehrig's disease and have no use of my hands or arms, legs and feet are minimal. Always happens when no one is around. Only happens once in a while. It is just a black screen with icons and task bar. Icons work but Taskbar doesn't.
