I did not state why, I have no idea why password protection sharing is being turned on. That is the reason for my post.

Windows 8 computer, webroot secure anywhere antivirus. Password protected sharing is off. With no interaction, turns on. Has happened a couple of times, not certain of the cause. Anyone else had this happened and what fix was applied? Thanks Rick
