So it's not worth the money for an upgrade if memory plus and SSD would cost more than the cost of the computer itself?

I have the Acer Aspire AXC 603G UW13 and looking for a compatible CHEAP memory upgrade from 4GB to 8GB (maximum supported) And cheap is like less than 25$ I saw someone on a site doing a review saying they got a memory upgrade for only 20$ but they didn't list the site or from where the bought...

I just reinstalled windows 8.1 pro x64 and tried both key retrieving softwares but the RW program has no MSDM tab and it still says "OEM key not found in firmware" Please help!

So I have correctly managed to boot in legacy mode! Yay! the bios options was named different though and super hard to find but i got it! i saved my data onto my other computer before formatting so i didnt lose some important stuff and now i have windows 7 64 ultimate and its super fast now!

i created a UEFI boot flash drive but it didnt work "windows can not be installed to a GPT disk" so i downgraded my bios flash to an older version and changing a bios option to legacy and that i found in a forum thread then it finally let me install after partitioning it to MBR! thanks

Trying the registry fix will report back on reboot if it works! Edit: back and now my CPU was always at 1.99Ghz instead of 2.41ghz so i reverted back the change now sometimes it idles at 2.0Ghz and under a small load above 9% it goes somewhere up to 2.41Ghz but i want it to always stay at...

Attempting to install windows 7 64-pro but came upon a massive snag I found out I had to flash to an older bios but I have no CD to burn so im on my moms old computer the problem is I have wiped the original hard drive of the computer before knowing about having to do the bios flash so nope...

Tried but my bios can only change date and time and a couple hard drive boot order options. Where is such option for intel speed step and C1E? I dug through my bios for hours finding no such options :( Throttlestop gave me unsupported/unrecognized CPU and it closed without letting me do anything...

What software (besides high performance mode in windows control panel) can lock the CPU at it's highest frequency? My CPU is Intel Celeron Quad Core 2.00Ghz but it has a "burst" frequency up to 2.41Ghz (similar to turbo boost) and I would like it to stay at it's highest frequency since I have...
