managed to get it working. But unfortunatly Any game will not run with crossfire enabled. Se i think its back to windows 7 for me haha

Sigh. Used driver sweaper in safe mode (after haveing to enable the blooming safemode) Now im running Cat 12.4 In Win 7 Compatability mode. Its been doing the Installing Catalyst Install Manager for a while with no bar movement, So may not work anyway.

ok will uninstall it all in safe mode and start again. You recomend useing the Windows 8 preview or trying 12.4 in compatability mode in safe mode?

I need it because by default crossfire is off, and some CCC settings are incorrect, AMD has a knack of lowering settings by default and CCC is required to raise them. Just not sure why the 12.4 drivers just dont install correctly :/

Ok I managed to get a driver installed useing the method above, BUT i cannt get CCC install no matter what i do. It gets stuck installing at the part where its doing Installable packages, and then just vanishes :/ i like windows 8, i dont want to have to go back to windows 7 just to play BF3 :/

I have tried to install these on windows 8 CP But the actual driver is never installed, only the Windows 8 Preview amd driver works. Problem i have is that crossfire makes games crash upon loading with the windows 8 preview driver -.- Anyone know of a fix?
