Thanks Chev, I have given the laptop back to the owner and she is ok with using a cable until the formal driver is offered by Fujitsu. If that would take (much) longer than the promised 2-3 weeks, I will pick this up again. I'll keep you informed. Rob

This is my CPU, but as mentioned before, Windows 8 has been installed succesfully (I am actually using it right now), so I presume NX is installed and active. Thank you all for your good advices.
