    Solved explorer.exe crashing persistently

Hi all, I believe it is Autodesk that is causing the crashes. I've looked on their forums and am finding a lot of users reporting the same issue with Autodesk 360, their cloud service.

I will try that when I get access again. Are you able to decipher which driver is the culprit?

    BSOD during general use

I am currently updating now. Although it seems to be a little difficult since my work's IT people control which updates are pushed through. I also noticed that the Windows apps have error next to all of them. But I would say that is the security policy in place.

    BSOD during general use

I was able to do a system restore and it removed all updates I did through Vaio Care. The laptop fan still runs very high, but I am able to access WiFi now, which helps due to the laptop not having a Ethernet port. Yes, it would blue screen, or it would fail to install all together. The last...

Unfortunately, I went through the Vaio update and installed updates one at a time. When i updated the Wireless LAN i now cant toggle WiFi on or off. And it did blue screen again but gave me the error code 0xc000021a.

No blue screening so far, SFC Scan didn't find any errors. It is not letting me upload the CBS file

    BSOD during general use

Ok, i've disabled everything except Kaskersky. The last time it blue screened, it was frozen on the screen. Nor did the percentage increase. I had to hold the power button down in order for me to restart it. What could be preventing it from creating the memory file?

    BSOD during general use

Nevermind. Now it is frozen on the blue screen. Also when I go to run the tool that is available for download, it says the path to the dump file is not found. Where should I go to repath the dump file?

    BSOD during general use

I think disabling all of those startup programs really helped. I am noticing the fan is not running as high as it normally was. Would you happen to know if any of those startup programs are known to cause slowdown?

    BSOD during general use

I will try that now. I also noticed that when I tried to update the Intel wireless card, it would also crash. Could that help?

    BSOD during general use

Sure thing. I also double checked the memory dump location and it was %systemroot%\Minidump. Is that ok? I changed to the one you specified to see if that does anything.
