Ok... Thanks once again. finally got hold of microsoft support center. The problem is specific to intel 965 express family chipset. I installed my version of win 8 on a friends pc (sony) and everything worked perfectly. Once again, thanks for the patience and help.....

Thanks... There is no yellow flag in the device manager and no issues in action center. All drivers up to date too.

Hello. I have problem running WEI on my windows 8. It just stops and gives the message WEI on your computer could not be computed. Cannot complete assessment. What should I do please. P.S. I was able to run it while using windows 7.
