Just a side note about your message. From what I understand, the app bar on the left is only recently opened apps, not running apps.

There seems to be a connection problem with my apps in the start menu. I can DL the apps but when I open them, they don't seem to be able to connect to the internet and retrieve their information. Their screens often stay blank. However, the internet is fine when I am on the desktop.
