I had the same problem all of a sudden (Windows 7 x64) and thanks to you I switched the connection from NDIS to RAS (Modem) and it seems to be working.
so the problem is caused by "ewusbnet.sys" (HUAWEI USB NDIS Miniport Driver) but how was it working ok for...
