well..it worked and it didn't it booted to an error: kernel mode exception not handled it's an old sk939 machine with a 4400+ AMD Athlon64 running 2 gigs of ram.

the harddrive only had one partition on it, empty, before i started running setup. and it's an old DFI LanParty UT mobo on sk939.

so, i have an empty 40 GB old IDE HDD and a DVD with Windows 8 Consumer Preview. i boot from the DVD, i get the fish image then my computer restarts. no error, but no setup. can anyone help me with this issue?
