Update: Thanks for the advice Alpha, it worked like a charm. Only I ran into another problem in the process. The same drivers I used on the CP did NOT work with the RP. I had to download the driver uninstall from Brothers site and the VISTA compatible drivers. In case anyone else runs into this...

Yes, I have tried through control panel and printer properties. The printer shows up, but I cannot use it.
