I really should look at the screen properly. When I wanted to uninstall an App, I was looking in Control Panel. I never thought of right clicking on the App and checking the screen for an uninstall button. Problem solved. I re-in stalled the App and it now works. Grateful thanks!!

Grateful thanks I used your Run the Windows Update automated troubleshooter. program which cleared the error. I then installed the updates in batches of 6 at a time and it worked perfectly. Many thanks for your help and solution to my problem. John.
