1. Open the Device Manager.
2. Click on "View" --> Click on "Show hidden devices"
3. Now go to "Network Adapters" and delete the greyed "Wi-Fi"
And you're done! Now you can rename your new Wi-Fi adapter in its settings.
Way easier than edeting the registry or search ours for the config file...
