    MS puts a hard block on MSE because it is incompatible with Win8 CP.

    Microsoft was sued in Europe by providing IE with base OS instead of "allowing people to choose which browser they prefer". Will this happen again with Anti-Virus makers vs MSE/WD?

    Win8 Preview: No Metro Apps at all only "the view is empty" :(

    .Net Framework 4.5 is part of Windows 8 and as such, can be installed/uninstalled using "Turn Windows features on or off". I am also unable to open Metro apps (ie, Remote desktop client) and my user account is not able to even see the basic Metro apps like Weather.

    Windows 8 - What do you think?

    I believe all the below may had been mentioned before, but I just skipped a dozen or so pages. I've just booted back to Win7 after playing some hours on the Win8 and the Metro UI. The OS itself feels like... a regular Windows. I did not noticed big improvements whatsoever against, let's say...

    Windows 8 on a Mac: why Microsoft should write its own Boot Camp

    Mac hardware is as much the same as yours or mine computer, except they carefully chose the cream of the cream for their products (and have some minor tidbits like full EFI). Better to ask Apple to provide faster drivers for Windows. Except that not gonna happens.

    What I still want to see is a price drop. Lion is coming with an aggressive $30 bucks.
