hooked

I was involved in software design/support and hardware repair on PCs for several years on previous jobs. I decided to try building my PC about 15 years ago. It was quite a challenge, but I got through it and was hooked. I've built my last 5 systems, each time getting higher-end components than the previous build.
I had a serious back/neck injury in 2002, and 2 surgeries. Dr. told me working on a computer 8-10 hours a day was aggravating my back so I changed my occupation to a Medical Receptionist.
I fell way behind on computer technology after that injury; I stayed with Win XP Pro until Feb 2015 when I built my current system. I've got a decent working knowledge of Win 8.1 now. In July I bought a laptop w/Windows 10 so I've gotten my feet wet there. But I currently consider myself almost a novice on Win 8 & 10 and want to get up to speed on both.
I've lurked around this forum quite a bit and usually find a solution on here. Great forum!
