Hey all, I have had this issue for a few days now and I think its the graphic card causing it.
Currently im using a Nvidia 560 Ti and last few days when I try to play some semi graphic intensive games I keep getting the "graphic driver stopped responding and has recovered" every single time...
I used the UK version and after checking it seems to be have downloaded the swedish version so it seems to be all good.
I guess it checks what version you have installed and download according to that :)

Yea to be honest I didnt really think about the fact that it was a Windows 8 DVD and not a 8.1. It all makes sense now :)

Hey, I appear to have figured it out. I use a NVIDIA card btw.
It appears that Windows 8.1 activated Stereoscopic 3D for some reason, so just go under NVIDIA control panel and deactivate it.
I still would like to know if I can delete the windows.old folder tho :P
