I remember that fix worked in Win 7. I tried it in Win 8, but it didnt work. Still cannot access server via workgroup. Ugh

Correct. I go into the, control panel > administrative tools > End! There is nothing more after that. There are no such settings on the workstation

@ Parman - I did read that, but it didnt explain how to manage it from the workstation. The settings that Jimbo spoke about are not in Win 8 on my PC's
