to use my pc again i had to plug in my cat-5 cable. my supposition, i have not retried it, was that when i turned on 'airplane' mode i forced the above condition i will re-test this if necessary, but hopefully somebody on the windev team can check RAID for this and let us know it's fixed for RTM...
