Thank you for your reply, I've got the windows 8 upgrade so I don't have a disk.

I'm a beginner with installing OS's and I've just upgraded from windows 7 ultimate to windows 8 pro. It booted up fine and then after about 5 minutes of browsing for drivers to install; it freezes and I can't move the mouse, type or even open task manager. Then I rebooted it and it happened...
