Nevermind i read your question wrong, i thought you just wanted to stop sharing them. You need to take ownership of the C:\users\public folder, and then delete it. Thats what i did. I share specific drives and folders and have no use for the public folders.

Almost seems like a notifications feature. Downloading update - arrow down, installing update - installer icon, and updated - checkmark. And then of course the regular shortcut arrow. The uac shields mean that program is set to always be run as administrator, without specificly having to do so...

Right click on each one and select sharing - advanced sharing, and uncheck the box share this folder.

I think speedtest.net is a little messed up today. I keep getting results like this on verizon 3g. I wish it was that good. I dont even get that on my cable internet.

I think comcast just gave my upload speed a major boost. I use to only get 3mbs for the longest time, then last year it went to 6mbs, and I just tested now and got a whopping 28mbs. You can look at my post from a few days ago above, it was only 6mbs.

I also am using cs6 with windows 8 pro with media center, without issue. Try this. Uninstall cs6 and any previous versions. Google adobe creative suite cleaner, download, and run. Then reinstall, and hopefully it will work.

Well you could try refreshing it by running systemreset.exe in C:\windows\system32. Or you could start from scratch and fresh install windows, but thats quite a job if you have it all setup.
