Thank you for all your answers. I think I have figured it out. I went to PC settings -> General -> allow changing between apps, and I turned this function off :)

I usually use just one finger. I'm not sure, my laptop is completely new, its ASUS K55VJ 15.6" HD.

No, it usually happens when the cursor is in the middle of the screen. It doesn't always go back to the start screen, sometimes it goes back to another app that I have open, f.ex. skype or e-mail :s

I'm not using a mouse, but the touchpad on my laptop :)

Hi! I have just got windows 8 and I have some problems. When I'm surfing the internet, and if I swipe my finger over the mousepad, ex to the right, the screen suddenly shifts to the start screen. Its extremly annoying. Does somebody know how I can prevent this from happening? :)
