I use Windows 7 Manager by yamicsoft to change the icons. both the icons in the explorer windows and the desktop are being changed. They are changed with any windows update.

Hi, Every time updates are preformed the icons I had changed (for Word, Excel, etc....) are returned to their original and the library icons that I had hidden on in the "My Computer" window are turned back on again. Is there a way to have the updates run and not change these settings?

Is there a way to force any new folder that are created be customized to be 'Optimize this folder for' - General Items no matter the contents (ie video, photos,etc.)?

Hi, For some reason after saying "Safe To Remove Hardware", the USB external drive is reloaded and still shows up in Windows Explorer window before I have a chance to turn off the drive. Anyone else have this problem? Is there a fix for this? Thanks

Hi, Just wondering if anyone knows if it's possible to change the background of the logon screen similar to the way www.julien-manici.com/windows_7_logon_background_changer/ does for Windows 7. I'm guessing there will be one eventually if there is not one now. Thanks
