It didn't work. That file did, however, create quite a few new oddities. Something about my documents folder being corrupt.

I tried searching for the solution to this but couldn't find anything... Recently, for an unknown reason, inactive application windows don't register clicks. I have to first click on the application icon in the taskbar to make it active, then I am able to click within the application or...
