The tablet is new... so it has the latest drivers. I tried the other drivers installed in it. They are worse. I don't know what SSID is, but the tablet does connect occasionally without me having to do anything. As I said, it's very random.

thanks for answering I have restarted the tablet many times. Troubleshooting doesn't work either and Windows help is too generic. It assumes the issue is with the router and not with the device itself :) . I know the issue is not with the router, so no help there. Sorry

I have a windows 8.1 tablet. It does recognize my home wifi 99 out of 100 times... and when it does, it says it cannot connect or says limited access. It recognizes wifi from all the houses in the neighborhood though. I can connect to my home wifi through any other devices however. Please help...
