Labs with pedigrees are most expensive here. The gene pool is from many countries around the world. They are bred for temperament,field work, soundness - they are not just pretty faces.
Do yours live inside when the weather is so cold?

My black Lab "Char" is a ball of muscle.
We run / walk at least 4 times a day. Keeps us both fit. [Of course our good weather allows this activity year round]

Your yellow one is beautiful - the black has only a tad Labrador I'd say.
They are just the best companions - how any one could prefer a cat I don't know!

Gus has an older woman to chew on.
I also have a 4 year old, black, pure bred Labrador. She teaches him good habits & keeps him out of mischief.
