That happened to me when I set Windows 7 as the default OS. When I switched it back to Windows 8 as the default I got the Blue Windows 8 graphical boot menu back. My guess is its something to do with the way the dual boot was setup.

Hi, Welcome to forums...

Checkout the step 5 of following tutorial:

http://www.eightforums.com/tutorials/5245-startup-options-enable-disable-windows-8-a.html

Hope this helps :)

I got could not get step 5 done. cmd said it was not a command... I want to have both Windows 7 and 8.1 in the same computer and use the nice blue boot GUI instead of the black, how do I this? If I first install 7 then I have to créate a partition for 8... but I want to just have MS Office in 7 to use it when I gotta work, but I want to use 8 as my main OS, now if I install 8 first, then I créate the 25 GB. small partition, then black screen comes back :(

any ideas? P.S. I want to have a 25 Gb. partition just for 7 and Office
