Only thing that should be on it is the beta, and betas for other programs. 3 things for me on this partition Windows 8 RP, MS Office 2013, and Bull Guard Security betas. Once everything with this version is done with, bye bye partition, and hello new Windows 8 RTM partition. NOT about to fubar my Win7, and Linux partitions.

I have made the mistake of upgrading Vista to Windows 7.
Optimized services, regularly disk but there are still many tasks which have been taken over from Vista which are slowing down the system.
The registry hives also have many unused entries I suspect but I would not run registry optimizers - they can make a system completely unuseable.
It is better to reinstall (really) needed programs on a new system, copy some user files and that's it.
This is like moving home - no need to carry all the old crap over...
