Help with dual booting

i got all of it, and know what to do.. Problem is, whenever im looking for a partition to place the windows 8 source setup on , it cant find my partition which i have created. hi.PNGwinwinwin.PNG

Format it and try again. Still a good idea to do a "quick" reformat when you are in the installation process

    Use several different computers during a day, so specs are irrelevant.
as I see you don't have another partition crated... you only have the Getaway and System reserved ones... You have to crate a new partition from the 29.77GB of unallocated space and then it will recognize it

Hello all,

The problem may be that the HDD has 3 primary partitions. Depending on how the 29.77 GB "unallocated space" was created, it may not work until you use the tutorial below to make it a logical partition first.

I had the same problem when I set mine up. I had 3 primary's and the install would not see the "unallocated". I created a Logical partition from the "unallocated" space and it worked great.
