Is Windows To Go included with Windows 8 Pro?

You can probably install it to vhd - copy the vhd to usb and boot it that way.

I actually have forgotten why I'd want this feature...

To brag to people that you have a pocket full of Windows! :D That was my excuse for Windows 7 on a flash drive and 8. I use 8 as a separate system to diagnose laptop/netbook/and possibly tablet related issues, such as a dead battery that I don't have details about since the hard drive is damaged.

What's the smallest VHD that should be used? The one I created was 60G Gib.

Probably be ok with 12gb or so - i assume you are using 32bit.

Depends how many programs you want to install.

I would think 32gb flash drive would be enough - whatever size vhd will fit on there.

Cool. The tutorial I saw on this forum on booting from USB did not involve VHD. Do you think there is any advantage to using a VHD?
