Stuck at black loading screen after first installation restart

I've been trying to look around if someoen else is having this problem but haven't really found any answers.

Basically what I'm having is after booting W8 Installer using USB Flash drive and installing, it all goes smoothly, however after that all is done it's asking for a restart and to remove the usb drive.

When it has restarted it ends up at a black screen with a white windows text and a spinning "loading" icon. I've already been waiting over 40 minutes and it makes no sense anymore.

What I have already tried

I've tried already downloading the official ISO file directly and then burning it to the USB drive and also tried the 5mb exe file you're able to download from their official site and burning it to the usb from there. Still same thing happening.

My PC should be compatible, W7 runs smoothly etc..

Some specs:
8gb ram
gtx 560 ti video card
amd athlon ii 4x 631

Here's the picture how it looks like:

I'm afraid that I won't be much help - but I did have a similar problem with Windows To Go.
Waiting may work - mine took an awfully long time, but I had walked away from it and came back an hour or two later.

If it doesn't work, then try disconnecting all non-essential devices. Remove all devices plugged into the computer via USB/1394/eSATA/etc. Remove any cards that are plugged into the motherboard that you absolutely don't need. Use a generic mouse and keyboard if possible. In short, remove anything that you can that isn't a Microsoft OS component (even Microsoft video cameras, etc).

I see you're trying to uninstall peripherals to bare essentials. Are you thinking it's a driver related problem? Is it searching for them online? Slow upload/download rate? M$ servers busy? Or that it just simply takes a long time?

I'm just remembering the issues that I had with Win8 To Go - and how it worked after I tried it on a more "traditional" system (one that had older, well known components) rather than on one with all the fancy new-fangled touch stuff.

I'm thinking that it's a compatibility issue - or a missing driver that isn't quitting gracefully after the search fails.

He or she is a newbie (not mocking) with no description of system other than 7. You're probably correct on the compatibility issue or missing driver, especially having the experience of the same problem.

Waiting may work - mine took an awfully long time, but I had walked away from it and came back an hour or two later.

Did this ever finish loading? My take it didn't.

I loaded 8RP dual booting with 7 using the ISO on a DVD with no problems. Older Acer T690 w/ upgraded maxed mem at 2GB. I really haven't noticed if people with newer systems are having more problems? Coobe? I just shoved the ISO disc in to gander what's on it. Most files are new to me. I don't remember the name of the folder they kept drivers in in past OSs, but didn't see anything familiar so far as that goes. Would you know if it searches online for them nowadays instead? The only update on drivers I had was my useless modem. Go figure.

We should probably ask what flavor of 8 he/she is trying to install also.

It's the weekend. People are busy with other stuff. We'll have to wait.

Thanks for answering, usasma. :D

Mine finished loading. It was on a brand new HP TouchSmart PC w/Win7 installed.
Lot's of new Windows drivers for Windows8 also!

Windows 7 was the first OS that would find most drivers - but as usual it only looks at Windows Update (as does Windows 8)
I had difficulties with Win8 To Go as it's on a USB drive - so Windows won't install updates, and most driver packages won't install onto a USB drive either. Then I tried fooling the system into believing that the USB drive was a Local drive - and I ended up breaking everything and giving up on Win8 To Go.

Most drivers (XP to Win8) are kept in C:\Windows\System32\drivers - but some developers use other places for them (and it ticks me off!). Also, if you're running 32 bit stuff on a 64 bit OS, then you may see drivers in the WinSxS (or something similar) folder.

Here's a list of the most common, new, Windows drivers in Windows 8 (based on my BSOD analysis')
Dunno if they're going to stay in the RTM, so I'm only listing them temporarily in my analysis':
BasicDisplay.sys
BasicRender.sys
Ndu.sys
USBXHCI.SYS
UsbHub3.sys
WdFilter.sys
WpdUpFltr.sys
WppRecorder.sys
acpiex.sys
condrv.sys
kd.dll
kdnic.sys
npsvctrig.sys
pdc.sys
spaceport.sys
ucx01000.sys
wfplwfs.sys
EhStorClass.sys
EhStorTcgDrv.sys
VerifierExt.sys
mslldp.sys
rdpvideominiport.sys
sdstor.sys
storahci.sys
storvsc.sys
uaspstor.sys
vmbkmcl.sys
Vid.sys
storvsp.sys
vpcivsp.sys
