I wanna dual boot Windows 8 Consumer Preview with my existing OS, Windows 7 Home Premium. I have created the necessary partitions and also created the bootable pendrive from the ISO downloaded.

When I begin the installation, everything goes fine until the Product Key screen comes up. I have tried 'NF32V-Q9P3W-7DR7Y-JGWRW-JFCK8' and 'DNJXJ-7XBW8-2378T-X22TX-BKG7J' but I get an error message saying 'We couldn't verify the product key. Check the installation media'
When I enter a random product key like '00000-00000-00000-00000-00000' it gives a message saying that the product key is wrong, but when I enter the correct product key I get the error message which I have put in bold statements above.

What shall I do? Please help.

Regards,
Abhishek Sharma

Oh thanks a lot for this valuable information. It's always good to install the latest available version. Will download the ISO now and hopefully won't have any issues. I'll revert back here with my progress. :)

And it's working flawlessly now.

Actually I had earlier downloaded the ISO of release preview only, but the name 'Consumer Preview' had stuck in my head and when I searched for the product key, I used to search for the product key of the consumer preview.

Using the release preview for about 15-20 minutes now, and unlike many of my friends I am not finding the Metro UI annoying to start with. Many said that you gradually get hold of it, well, I'm feeling very comfortable with the Metro UI.

Thanks for the help, Shawn.
