Okay so here's my situation.
My husband's friend installed windows 8 onto my computer, recently the "windows is about to expire" message popped up. It was set to expire July 13. So I signed up to get Windows 10, which will be released July 29. I researched what I can do to get rid of the expiring message. So I did this.. I went to command prompt, and typed "slmgr - rearm" since then the message stopped popping up but my windows is no longer active witch will prevent me from getting Windows 10.
Soo now here I am trying completely do a system recovery but I forgot my main password. Not the one we use to log on to the computer but the one I typed when I FIRST set it up. I don't know what to do!
Can anyone pleassee help!
